About the TRAP Method:
The TRAP method is an experienced-focus method in which clients are taught to identify their emotion and negative beliefs in their current behaviors and map it back to an impactful experience in their past. The TRAP method helps us understand what drives our behavior and begins the reprocess of experiences that were processed in an irrational state in our past. The TRAP method is a workbook with tools to help individuals identify triggers, acknowledge reactions, and process emotions in themselves and in their relationships with others. Completing the provider training will certify providers to use the workbook in their practice and a license to use copyrighted material. |
